Charitable Road to Wembley

4 Years ago Thurrock playing football in the Conferance and now a small crowd turning out to watch them play Felixstowe in the early stages of the F A Cup, very sad fall from grace but a stark reminder to all clubs. great conditions for a game of football and the first chance falling to Felixstowe who rattled the bar. Thurrock began to dominate and eventually scored what was a scrappy goal. It could have been 2 soon after but the goal was ruled out for offside. A couple of nasty injuries forced 2 Felixstowe players off on stretchers. Not a dirty game by anyones standards, just 2 very committed teams. Final score 3-0
